Image of a martial arts’ dojo located in Aveiro. Without entering in long details, the symbol of this association is connected to the Japanese character for water, element which is simultaneously connected to the philosophy of the martial art and to the identity of Aveiro where it is located. The circle is also linked to the enso symbols very integrated in the concepts of the art. The possibilities in terms of calligraphy and use of ensos drawn by monks are vast and increases value to the image of the club. The last image with colour was developed for specific purposes. The chosen colour is the pantone named Ocean Wave. The Pantone’s reference number combines the day and month of the creation of the club and additionally the year when we were accepted as a dojo of this old school. To find this meaning/match, it may have been achieved by coincidence, or maybe by an healthy obsession.
